Red Bull.

Sarah Young's Red Bulls music class of 2010 (with stylist Sarah Young) This was a three day project i embarked on earler this year. It was a style meets music collaboration with the following artists:

Mistajam (BBC Radio One DJ)
Roses Gabor (Artist)
Toddla T (UK producer)
Redlight (UK producer)
Swindle (UK producer)
Jammer (MC)
J2k (MC)
Donaeo (Artist)
Mz Bratt (Female MC)

The make up for Roses was based around a 1960's white graphic eye (to compliment her futuristic black and white catsuit) and Mz Brattz had a very slick glamorous classic eye with a liner and red lips. The guys all (rather resentfully) had all the basic grooming. It was a really laid back enjoyable three days (and this is also where i meet Geogria!) Sarah's styling was outlandish and very high end, which was new to some of the artist, but they all embraced it with great enthusiasm. I was taken a back by how these people, who all front what could be argued to be an aggressive and intimidating music sceen, were quite possibly the most polite and friendly people i have ever worked with.

And I'll post the pics when there out of course!

Georgia.

Georgia's studio is right next to the Peckham Rye station, I've been looking at it every time i got of the train from Victoria for 15 odd years. And so now I've been testing in it with Georgia Hudson. Georgia makes beautiful, original and enticing films for fashion and art. This is just a small snippet of a film i did the make-up for back in September. Films going up tomorrow, and there will be much more to come from the studio over looking the station very soon.

Autumn.

Summer is over and its time to settle down and work. These images are from the summer, but i only just found them hiding in my inbox! They were from a day back in July shooting for Sketchbook in Kingly court. Styling by Auk Anurak Homme, and Photography by my favorite girl to ever hold a camera Naomi James (so talented its quite frankly starting to annoy me!!)

And so here it is. The first Blog entry that signifies the start of serious work as I have now left Uni and am entering the real world.

Testing Peckham.

Me Naomi and Holly test out my dad's studio as a possible shoot location, which would be especially usefull when the winter comes round again. The one one with the sickeningly short legs in my friend Nikki. Make-up: Artificial freckles and clean skin!

5am.

So I'm shooting with Naomi and she casualy throws in that were meeting in Waterloo at 4.30am. I'm slightly taken aback, because that is actualy kind of still night time, but I trust her completly and jumped on the 171 at 3.30. I meet Naomi, Auk and Camila at the London eye at 5am and we begin. Early mornings are amazing, they make you feel really smug, like your in a secret 'pretty sceenery' club, just you a drunk man and a very enthusiastic jogger.

The light was beautiful, and we had the whole of the Southbank to areselves. My make-up for Camila was glossy/ grunngy, and her hair (all her own!) was windswept and messy.

I had an insane caffine high and then completley crashed at 10am. The other three were fine I'm just pathetic. I love these pictures and will be doing the early morning thing again very soon.

This is alot of words for me sorry about spelling etc!
